Small inclusions barely visible to the eye give this Peruvian blue opal a soft, velvety appearance. Its shine is light and delicate but present, its blue-green color difficult to describe comes from micro-inclusions of copper. These characteristics make this gem a very fine example of blue opal to use for a delicate ring or pendant.
